Intech Environmental Limited are specialists in providing fully certified and experienced IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) technicians on-site across the UK for complete cleaning solutions, netting installations and removal, inspections, silos, vessels, tank cleaning and installation projects.

Rope access offers quick and easy mobilisation which has been proven to be safer, more cost effective and less intrusive in comparison to traditional solutions such as scaffolding and MEWP which that can be both costly and time consuming.

The advantage of using rope access methods mainly lies in the safety and speed with which workers can get to or from difficult locations to complete the necessary work. This is often accomplished with minimal impact on the nearby area and on other operations that in some cases cannot be obstructed.

September 2020 - On Tuesday 8th September, I attended .xxxxxx. Water Treatment Works to carry out some unannounced spot check inspections with our contractors. As part of my visit, I dropped in on a maintenance job with included Intech Environmental who were on site to replace faulty light fittings. In summary, the inspection went well with all areas reaching a 4 or higher. Zack, Alex and Matthew from Intech presented themselves in a professional manor and demonstrated a positive attitude towards safety within their roles. There was no areas of concern identified at the time of my visit.

We are a food processing plant and we were struggling with bulk flour silo cleans. The Intech team visited the site and a trial clean was planned. We have never looked back since. They now take care of our 3 silos and will soon be invited to complete more deep and high cleans around the plant.
